Thanks to the ethical audits according to the regulations of the independent organization "Supplier Ethical Data Exchange" (Sedex) these actions are quantifiable and form the basis for continuous optimization.
The avant-garde Sedex system is an online tool structured in questionnaires for different companies and suppliers made according to the most important standards and strict rules of the ethical business field and C.S.R. Thus, it makes available in one place and under a single integrated model all the information needed to manage and monitor ethics in supply chains. "Sedex, the Ethical Data Exchange Provider" was founded in 2004 in the UK as a non-profit organization aimed at improving ethical and responsible practices of the companies within their supply chains. As an innovative tool that reduces cost, effort and duplication of information and that helps companies and brands to reduce risk and generating greater control of ethics and sustainability of supply chains. The tool of management of supply chains Sedex launched four years ago, has been evolving and expanding, and today Sedex is present in about 20,000 production sites in more than 130 countries worldwide.
As members of the British international organization "Supplier Ethical Data Exchange" (Sedex), RIS is committed to continuously improving the ethical performance of the supply chain. In recent years, Sedex has seen its definition of social sustainability has become the principle by which compliance with a company with social and ethical standards is measured.
